About Us
Our story, mission, and commitment to making a difference
Our Story
Cookies for Alzheimers began with a simple resolve to do something. The story started with two high school sophomores that saw their relatives's soul fade away, despite their phyical presence, under the spell of Alzheimer's. The two high schoolers understood the monolith of a disease that they were fighting, but they wanted to do something. And they found it in cookies and community.
Every cookie we bake represents a small, but meaningful, act of defiance, a recognition of the sufferings that those afflicted are going through. But each cookie represents hope too, in the sense that each contribution can further the world's research to a cure, one step at a time.
Our Mission
While we aim to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's research, we believe that through community engagement, we can create meaningful impressions in the fight against Alzheimer's disease.
Our approach combines grassroots activism, incremental fundraising, and just plain-old conversations in front of the stand to ensure that every dollar raised and every cookie baked contributes meaningfully to our cause.
